The Gap Finder indicator highlights the price gaps on your chart. When a gap is detected, the indicator highlights the area with a shaded rectangle. Here is the indicator applied to a 15 minute chart, showing 3 broken gaps:
You can differentiate the gap status by assigning a different color to Fresh, Tested, and Broken gaps. Here is the indicator applied to a 5 minute chart showing a Tested gap:
And here is an example of a Fresh Gap that was never tested:
You can also filter out small gaps by specifying a minimum threshold size based on Ticks, Points, or an ATR multiple. A Dropdown Menu button appears at the top of the chart window where you can selectively hide Fresh, Tested, or Broken gaps on the fly.
