Now that the first trade is in and there's a bit more flow, meaning Order Flow that I am able to decipher and utilize... Let's see what we got.
I got tapped in long at the 6025 level.
This execution happened very quickly. Almost immediately entry into my long position, I caught a Buy Stack at the base of the 9:47 candle an price sky rocketed higher! ๐ฎ
I was anticipating a thrust higher, then a small pull back, then either a sustain or continuation.
First target (Not seen in the capture, for a good reason) was resting at the 6035 level. 10 Points above the entry. As price catapulted higher, my T-1 was basically taken hostage, it was evaporated.
I raised my stop to the 6026.75. Just 1.75 points into profit, to lock in the gains, should price decide it wanted to sweep that fresh SSL.
Notice the 2 Striker levels (in the capture below - the two higher levels) The 6030 appears to have a bit more upside protection, but I'll stay closer to the lower Strike, still holding a profit should Price decide to tank right here.
Price is beginning to waver a bit.... but it's still looking like it wants to go higher. I have gains already locked in, so not bailing on this trade seems like a pretty decent idea. ๐
Order Flow is showing me that the Market Algorithm, the Pricing Program, that Buyers are currently in control. At least for this little Price Cluster above the 6027 level. No reason for any elevated levels of concern or anything that would sway me to believe anything other than what I am currently watching will take place.
Here we go! This is exactly what I wanted to see and exactly what I wanted to hear!!
The birds are beginning to feed.... The Woodpeckers got the memo...
The birds of prey are taking price to the promised land.... My second Target.
BOOM! T-2 Executed!!!
16 Points on this Trade Long.
Not bad for nearly an hour's worth of execution. ๐คทโโ๏ธ
Two trades on the day today, so far.
I'm not happy with the MAE that I have circled in the capture below. That statistic exemplifies the heat that I took on the very first trade on the day. I am very mindful of my performance at all times. One simply cannot predict what price will decided to do, exactly how much or a skew and exactly when it decides to do so, but that's why safeguards are in place.
It doesn't make up for that little blip, but as seen in the capture below, my Entry & Exit efficiency ratios prove to be rather solid!
