I lowered my risk per trade today. I'm thinking that I'll run RTY and NQ on a prop account next week. A positive day for RTY. Losing days for NQ and GC again.
I think NQ volatility was just low with less follow through so choppiness caught some stops. The second RTY trade hit BE and went on to win but I think that happens less than BE saving a loss so I have to accept this happening sometimes.
GC caught the sweeps in deeper pullbacks. I'd like to skip those trades when the EMA starts pointing down in an uptrend. I tried using the EMA slope filter last night, but haven't found a setting I like in the short time I was able to play with it. Based on linear regression it's not simply an EMA slope positive or negative.
